The welcome pack was lovely. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. The Spar shop in the village was open early till 10pm, with friendly staff. The villagers and neighbors were helpful and friendly. Plenty of walks nearby for dogs. Lots of things to do. The pub in the village is friendly. The local petrol station offers cheap fuel. Fantastic views from the Lomonds. The walk from the East Lomond car park is the shortest and easiest. There is 2 hours free parking at both car parks. Loads of lovely places to eat and some are dog friendly.

The cottage is cozy and well-equipped with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We appreciated the selection of goodies left for us. The location is quiet and the parking space is conveniently allocated. Freuchie is a good base for exploring Glenrothes and Dunfermline. The Spar shop nearby is a decent size.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Horseshoe Cottage in Freuchie, and it was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I felt welcomed and comfortable. the cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could ask for, including a well-equipped kitchen. the bedroom and shower room were impeccable, and the overall cleanliness of the cottage was top-notch. the cottage had a lovely garden that I can imagine would be perfect during the summer months when in full bloom with daffodils. the welcome pack provided was a nice touch and added to the overall positive experience.

The cottage was absolutely amazing! It was mind-blowingly lovely and had so many jaw-dropping extras provided, like toilet rolls, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar. It was super clean and cosy, making it the perfect place for spending my honeymoon. The location was great, with loads of walks nearby for our dogs, and there were plenty of things to do.
